Laghu Rudrabhishek
Laghu Rudra Abhishek is one of the most important and widely performed Vedic rituals dedicated to Lord Shiva. It involves the Abhishekam (holy bath) of the Shiva Lingam with sacred items like water, milk, honey, ghee, curd, sugarcane juice, and herbs while chanting the Rudra Namakam & Chamakam from the Yajurveda.
In Laghu Rudra, the Rudram is chanted 11 times, invoking the 11 forms of Rudra. This pooja removes negativity, pacifies graha doshas (especially Rahu, Ketu, and Shani), brings health, prosperity, and mental peace.
